Discovering and Dealing with Chicken Pox on a Child

My daughter was so poorly for the past few weeks. It started from eye infection and redness of eye. Her hand and feet were so cold but her body temperature was high. She had fever. Then, she developed cough and cold sores. Last week, I was relieved that she was getting better after completing a course of antibiotics. But, now she has developed red spots and tiny blisters in the neck which is starting to spread all over her body. Immediately, I looked up in the internet about these symptoms and I am gutted, it is Chickenpox.

Here are 3 useful links and tips for Chickenpox.

Monologue..To be Happy or To be Right?

            Every now and then, I yearn for enlightenment. I crave for reassurance that I am not insane, its all human nature. If I choose to follow the truth, I will find happiness. I have the courage to do the right, I am sure happiness will follow. Now, I feel like a hermit at heart who seeks solace, peace and tranquility. As I listen to the song, I get illusion of being a free bird.

                                                                   "Imagine" by John Lenon

Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today...

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

Aura

New Year .. New Beginning...
The aura of rejoice and positive energy.

Youth and Rebellion;
Wrath upon injustice.

Beauty or the Beast;
Sinner on the feast.

Silence before the storm;
Or Daylight after the dawn.

For all the prayers and humanity;
Hope shall rekindle.

Mankind and Nature;
Both shall evolve.

Winding down to the Memory Lane (Nepal-Germany)

It’s been quite a while that I have not let my thoughts run into pages of written words.  My 5  Star points to everyone for making good guess on why I stopped blogging? Yes, I moved back to Germany from Nepal and it took a while to get things settled down here on my own. My thoughts are getting bottled up for quite a while and rite now it seems like they are pushing the cork away to the infinity.

My 9 months trip to Nepal, turned out to be full of adventures and enlightment. I cherished joys of being with family, friends and lots of lovely Nepalese People on the road, in the bus, in the tempo, the taxi and how can I forget all those Musical Micro Van with popular Western songs, the fact that they don’t bother playing lok geet anymore. Most probably mega concerts by Bryan Adams and Michale Learns To Rock were the influencing factor.  A lot has changed and I definitely got intrigued.

Swoyambhunath, Kathmandu, Nepal
Now that I am here, I miss the streets, food, dad’s home/farm grown vegetables and fruits, girly chatting with my wisest and wittiest siblings until the wee hours, intensive talks with mom about parenting issues and lots of other delightful moments and excitement added by the newest member in the family, my daughter.
Meeting friends and relatives and then having those intensive hours at the hospital with mom and lovely staffs of BnB hospital. Being there for friends and listening to their stories and  brainstorming on ideas and opportunities to work towards a genuine cause by starting off a new venture. I could have stayed a little longer in Nepal but I guess it was the call of my duty. The destiny pulled me back to the foot trails that I left like it was telling me not to get carried away but get real, and just get a life.

I here know that this is a Land with Strangers all around but it doesn’t bother me now. I am comfortably numb and I even smile at people who speak German to me. Recently, in a visit to the town centre, a  lady ran into me who was drenched in beer and asked me about a location followed by a long speech. I could hardly sense her fumbling words but I figured out that she was looking for a cash machine. “There!”, I just bluntly pointed out and she kept on and on thanking me. I guess I was offered a drink too but I managed to vanish being resistant to alcohol esp. beer.  Nepalese look a lot similar to Turkish or Russian. So they tend to think, I am one of them. Anyway, even if I look odd one in a crowd, it would not bother me. I am a Nepali and I am proud of my origin.
So here, I am trying to explore people and places like never before. Things are a lot calmer and less chaotic. May be, because I have made peace with my soul and embraced spirituality. My prayers will always be there for sanity and humanity. Peace shall be restored.

Glory

Just take one step at a time,
Behold and reflect;
Just breathe in,
Let your fears go away.

Just put your feet on the ground,
Feel the earth and firm up;
Just stand tall,
Reach for the clouds.

Just be careful,
Thought turns into deed;
Just be a dreamer,
Dream is the motivation.

Just heed the truth,
Keep it for today;
Just hold on,
Let me find a way.

Just feel the pain,
Then feel it go away;
Just see the light at the end of a tunnel,
Then brace yourself for endurance.

Just be a stance,
Never fall apart;
Just move on,
Then you shall evolve.
